| Baby Yoga is a revolutionary way to enhance your baby's development. Using gentle movements with rhythm you can stimulate your baby's mental and physical abilities whilst, at the same time, learning techniques to relax, comfort and play together. Simple yoga movements and massage with babies can help to prevent and ease common ailments such as constipation and colic and also promote sleep. They are a part of parenting traditions in India, still practised today. Birthlight Baby Yoga includes songs and movement to facilitate creative play between baby and parent, retaining all the benefits that are derived from these harmonising practices. Baby Yoga matches the four principle themes of the Early Years Foundation Stage: Positve Relationships; Learning and Development; Unique Child and Enabling Environments. Our Baby Massage class uses an age-old technique of massage which soothes, improves muscle tone and is nourishing in many ways. Both classes are available for babies aged 6 weeks and over.
